Pippi Longstocking Busted

Tami Erin, who played Pippi Longstocking in the ’80s reboot of the film, was busted for a DUI hit and run. The 39-year-old actress is accused of hitting three cars in Los Angeles — in three completely different incidents. She allegedly left all three scenes.
Erin was pulled over by police, failed a sobriety test, and was taken into custody. She posted a $100,000 bond the same day.


Big Brother Star Willie Hantz Arrested for Drunk Driving

Willie Hantz, known as a villain on Big Brother, was arrested on suspicion of OWI, operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The 34-year-old was nabbed in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, refusing a blood test and breathalyzer, at around 2am. He was booked and released the next afternoon on a $750 bond.

Hantz took to Twitter to defend himself, tweeting, “I wasn’t driving. I was sitting in the driver’s seat with the car running. I know stupid…I mean all I can do is laugh it off. Learn from it. Maybe.”

Willie’s more famous real-life big brother, Russell Hantz, an infamous villain on the Survivor series, tweeted back congratulations, ““You’re not famous until you have a mug shot, congrats Willie.”


Celeb Chef Cat Cora Busted for DUI

Celebrity chef Cat Cora has been feeling the heat outside the kitchen.

The star of Around the World in 80 Plates got slapped with a DUI after failing a sobriety test following an accident in which she rear-ended another car in Santa Barbara, California. The driver of the of the other car told police that Cora appeared to have been drinking during the incident that took place around 6pm on June 17.

The 45-year-old claims to have had three beers before getting on the road, and subsequently failed two Breathalyzer tests, registering blood-alcohol levels of 0.20 and 0.19, which is over double the 0.08 limit. From a blood sample, her blood-alcohol registered 0.19.

In a statement to E! News, the Iron Chef America star said, “I deeply regret my decision to drive that evening after my designated driver became unavailable. I learned a very important lesson from this experience and take full accountability for my actions. This will never happen again.”
